10U and 12U baseball games in De Soto are cancelled today due to wet field conditions and the forecasted heat index.
Football players attending camp tonight: Please bring both indoor and outdoor shoes and plenty of water. We will monitor the heat, take plenty of breaks, and possibly even do some things inside.
HEY BAND!! Here is a reminder of our scheduled summer band camps for next week Wednesday and Thursday. The beginner(6th Gr) and MS(7-8) camp will be on Wednesday, July 28. The HS(9-12) camp will be on Thursday, July 29. Students using school instruments that were cleaned/fixed this summer, can pick up their instrument at the beginning of the day camp. Summer Softball Players … A reminder we will have our end of year cookout this Friday, July 30, at 5:30, in the main shelter at Banker Park. We will supply brats, hotdogs, buns, condiments, and water. 14U-please bring chips/crackers. 12U-please bring a side dish. 10U-please bring dessert. Also, please send a RSVP to Mr. Smith so we have a general idea of how many people will be there. See you all soon!

Parents/Students...here is the schedule for the softball tournaments this weekend. Hard copies will be handed out at the game today. It's supposed to be hot, so drink plenty of fluids and get rest. If by chance you CAN NOT be there, please let Mr. Smith know. https://5il.co/vpyn

High School 8-player Football Camp will be July 27, 28, & 29 from 5-7pm.
Due to impending weather, practices and games for today, July 14th.
All Softball practices will be held at the regular schedule times, in the high school gymnasium. Please bring masks and proper footwear. Girls attending summer school will be told to go to the gym after school is done.
The final practices for 8U baseball and T-Ball, will be moved to Monday, July 19th, at the regular scheduled times.
12U Baseball practice is canceled.

The next Kickapoo Fishing Club meeting will be at Sidie Hollow this Thursday from 6-8. We will meet at the shelter side of the lake again. This is free and any middle/high school student from Kickapoo can attend. Email Mr. Gehrke if you have any questions.
