The Kickapoo School Flu Clinic for those who signed up and have turned in their forms is today, Friday, October 23rd, in the overflow parking lot. Look for the Vernon County Emergency Management Trailer.
Both Vernon and Richland counties posted lower Covid positive numbers this week than they did last week. The two week total case counts are still high in Richland county. The board will discuss possible modifications to our back to school plan and our gating metric on Monday evening. I hope this drop in weekly cases is representative of a new trend. I will update the community on Tuesday with any modifications to our metric.

Congrats to the KLF CC Teams on their performances at the Sub-Sectional meet today at Brookwood! The girls team earned first place and will move on to Sectionals @ Darlington as a team! Anelise Egge earned herself a first place finish, while Autumn Jacks 3rd, Lilly Geary 6th, Jayla Nagel 7th, and Colene Grefe 11th rounded out the scoring and Tahmara Hendrickson and Hailey Gander completed the girls team! Seniors: Just a reminder if you haven't ordered your cap and gown, to please do so. All orders need to be placed by Nov. 1, 2020 to avoid a late fee.
Cut off dates for cap/gowns are:
If ordered by Nov. 1st, cap/gown unit is $29.99
If ordered between Nov. 2nd and Dec. 31st, c/g unit is $39.99
If ordered Jan. 1, 2021 or after, c/g unit is $49.99 and not guaranteed.
Extra tickets for Cross Country on Monday at Brookwood have become available. The are $5 each. Contact Mr. Petersen at 627-0142 by 4:30pm today if you would like any.
The Richland County 14 day case count numbers continue to rise, Vernon County holds stable. This confirms the district will stay virtual through the end of October. The school board will review county level data trends at their meeting on October 26th.
