Dear Kickapoo Community,

Over the past year, life changed in ways I never expected. The recovery process has been long and continues every day. Some things will return to normal, and some things will not,  and I am learning to accept both. Through it all, your encouragement, patience, prayers and support have carried me. I am deeply grateful! This experience reaffirmed my belief in the power of connection, purpose, and community — qualities that make Kickapoo so special.

As we look ahead, I want to build on that foundation. This survey is part of our effort to listen, learn, and grow together.  My goal is to work with our board of education and our community to ensure that the work in our schools continues to reflect the values, priorities, and hopes of the people who make Kickapoo home.

Schools don’t just prepare students for tests, they prepare students for life. And the values we model — respect, responsibility, curiosity, and compassion — shape who our children become as people.

We want to know what matters most to you. Your voice will help guide our work moving forward — grounded in shared values and a common purpose.

Your feedback will help us:

  •  Identify the core benefits families and community members see in students attending Kickapoo;

  • Understand what you value most in education;

  • Learn how we might improve communication, community connections, and shared understanding.

When we come together with a shared purpose, we strengthen both our schools and our community. Kickapoo is more than a school — it is a place where students grow in confidence, character, and purpose.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your voice. It matters deeply.
